Operator and scope

Ship It! Software Limited in New Zealand operates SEO for AI. This policy covers the website, browser checker, and MCP connector. No signup is required.

What you submit

Using the checker or connector sends your keywords, selected country, and language to our hosted service. For an uncached lookup, the service sends these values to our keyword data provider to obtain a difficulty estimate. This is server processing, not a browser-only operation.

Shared cache and retention

We may cache keyword difficulty results, including the keyword, market, language, estimate, and retrieval time, in our shared cache for up to seven days. Cached results can be reused for other users who request the same keywords. Do not submit confidential information, personal information, or terms you need to keep private.

Hosting and provider logs may be retained separately under our hosting and keyword data providers’ policies. Cache expiry does not establish how long those providers retain their logs.

Web request data

Our hosting provider receives ordinary connection data such as IP addresses, request times, browser details, and requested routes to deliver the service and protect it from abuse. We use operational information to diagnose errors and manage the shared lookup allowance. We do not require a persistent account identifier.

Cookies and analytics

This initial version does not set account cookies or use a browser analytics tracker. Hosting infrastructure may process request information for security and operations. If measurement or cookies change, we will update this policy.

Service providers

We use third-party providers for hosting, caching, and keyword data. When you use the tool through Claude, Anthropic also processes your conversation and tool activity under its own policies. Processing by these providers can occur outside New Zealand.

Security and your choices

We use HTTPS and keep provider credentials on the server. No service can guarantee complete security. You can choose not to submit keywords, and use the public documentation without making a lookup. For privacy questions or requests, use the support form. Anonymous requests may be difficult to associate with a particular person.
