A GUIDE TO SEO FOR AI

How it works.

SEO for AI brings SEO research tools into your AI conversations. The first tool checks keyword difficulty, and you can also use it directly in your browser.

Start with keyword difficulty

Open the keyword checker to paste up to 50 keywords and choose your market. In Claude, ask the connector to look up the same keywords.

What the score means

Keyword difficulty is an estimate from 0 to 100. A higher value suggests stronger ranking competition. It is a useful comparison, not a prediction of how your own website will rank.

We show the provider’s returned value. When the data provider has no difficulty estimate for a keyword, the result says “No data”. We do not turn missing values into a zero.

Markets and language

The initial tool supports English keywords in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Search volume, cost per click, and full search results are not included.

Free access and cached results

No signup is required. Everyone shares a limited allowance for fresh lookups. Results may be reused from our shared cache for up to seven days. Each result shows its retrieval date and whether it came from the cache.

When fresh lookups are unavailable, cached results may remain usable. An uncached request can return a limit message with a time to try again. Access and limits may change as we learn how the tool is used.

Data handling
